SHDWRK is a new artistic offering from LA based keyboardist/songwriter Misha Davidson.  Davidson is a classically trained pianist with a career spanning almost 20 years in genres ranging from but not limited to jazz, R&B, hip hop and soul, steps forward for the first time to take the lead and share his story for the first time in his new project. Davidson’s heartfelt lyrics and hypnotic piano motifs create a keyboard driven alt rock atmosphere punctuated by notes of hip hop/R&B that evokes visions of Venice Beach and the rhythm of the tides. Davidson explores his journey of self-growth through SHDWRK by embracing catharsis and running toward your fear instead of away from it. 

With SHDWRK, Davidson looks to document and explore his demons, lessons, people and influences that have crossed his path throughout his near-two decades in the music industry. 

“Quarantine cornered me and it was me versus me,” Davidson explained. “Working with bands and being a part of something with incredible musicians was key in my life but it seemed like I had to do this alone now.

SHDWRK is a story that I’m telling about myself and who I am now, it’s raw and it’s all of the education and experiences I have felt molded into music that I’m hoping can connect to others who have gone through similar experiences.”
